American Foundation for Suicide Prevention
The current charity we are working with is the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention (AFSP). This amazing organization raises funds for suicide awareness and prevention. We here at the Rocky Mountain Villains feel that mental health is at the utmost importance, and we are honored to help support such an important cause!
Walk Out of the Darkness
Every year, as a chapter, we participate in the Denver, Colorado Walk Out of the Darkness charity walk supporting AFSP.

When: 9/13/25
Where: 4601 W. 46th Ave. Denver, CO (Berkeley Lake Park)
Check in is at 8:00am, and the walk starts at 9am.
This year, we are proudly teaming up with AFSP to host an annual beard competition!! All funds raised by the competition will be added to the funds we raise for the walk!
Beard Competition and Raffle 2025
We are proud to announce that we are teaming up with AFSP to host an annual beard competition and raffle!! All funds raised will be added to our donation to AFSP!!
There are five different categories available to compete in. The beard competition categories are:
- Natural 0-6"
- Natural 6-10"
- Natural 10" and over
- Wiskerina
- Kids (ages 0-15)
The 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place winners of each category will will a plaque and a Whisker Dam!
The price to compete also includes a voucher for a drink at the bar within the competition area!! (Drinks for 21+ competitors only.)
In addition to the beard competition, we will also be having a raffle for a wide variety of prizes!! Raffle prizes include:
- Free haircuts
- Products from Hubbard Shoe
- Products from Gibs Grooming
- Two-piece glass whiskey set with two engraved rocks glasses
- Two-piece glass Scotch set with two engraved rocks glasses
- A Blackstone Grill
Raffle tickets can be purchased at the event!
